True Meaning of CHRISTmas

When I first saw this image I just had to create a card with it. I just love how it turned out. I try to signify the true meaning of Christmas through all my cards but in my opinion this ones say's it louder then all the rest. I came accross a wonderful Blog Hop today named "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season" and this card is perfect for the challenge on one of the blogs. The Blog Hop has come to an end but the card challenge is still on the go for another 2 days. Head on over to check it out. True Meaning Of Christmas Card

All About "April" and Fall

This here is april, the family pet. She is a pure bred "Jack Russel Terrier". I have never seen a dog that has as much energy as this little girl. Althought Jack Russels hate being cold, she's outside all day long and I can't seem to figure out why, its not been much more then 12 degrees celcius here in southern MB in the past few weeks.
And now onto a card:
Orange has never been one of my favorite colors to work with. I don't know why but it just is. Although it isn't a favorite color for me I just love how this card turned out. The mongolia stamped image was colored with pencil crayons (still workin' on trying to color nicely with Copics). I want link to enter this card into a couple of Challenges:
  1. CuteCardThursday - Anything Goes
  2. Fun At Fairy Knoll - Fall Inspiration (Leaves and Color Orange)
  3. Hodge Podge Shop - Leaves

Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Its been a while since I've posted a new card. I'm officially hooked to the Easel Cards; just love making them and I also love the turn out. Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge Blog is hosting Challenge #77 and I've made this card to follow their sketch. In honor of Breast Cancer Awarness Month" I've decided to make this card pink. I'm not at all a pink kinda' gal but it turned out and I'm happy with that. The stamped image is from the Mongolia stamp collection. I won it in a blog candy once. Thanks for looking and for your lovely comments I really enjoy reading them.

First Time Ever

I was browsing blogs the other day and the though came to me that I should definately try making my very first Easel Cards. I've seen quite a few on blogs here and there and they look absolutely beautiful and plus they seem much classier then the original handmade card.
I browsed around until I found a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers. I just love how it turned out.

Fathers Day Cards

Hi all. I went on a spree and made a couple of Father's Day Cards. All of them have the same verse but I tried to change the card designs around a bit. My favorite is the brown one, the touch of blue gives it an awesome look. Personally I'm not the brown type but when it comes to scrapbooking and card making then that is something totally different. I decided to enter the card(s) into some challenges.

New Kinda Card

This here is a new card I just finished making. The size of the card is a size I've never tried before. I've been making square cards up to this point and I do think its time for a change. I like how it turned out and I also like the color combination.
Here are a couple of challenges that I have entered the card into.
Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments. Hugs, Rosalee

Lets Get Wing-y

Although I used the same design for this card that I always use I diid try something different. I found some cute butterflies at my favorite store, The Dollarama. I'm not one for trying new thing and I really don't like how this turned out but I guess its OK once you get used to it.
I also found a couple of challenges that I can enter this card into.

WOJ Challenge

Here is a card I made for the Whiff Of Joy Challenge #72. I wasn't quite sure about the paper I should use and I'm still unsure about how it turned out. I background paper with the apples on it fit perfectly with the stamp so I decided to use it. So far the only thing that impresses me is the stamp and the apple background paper. Hugs, Rosalee
Spring-y Card

Most of you might not think this card is too spring-y but that is all I see what I look at it. I used the same design on it as the last card I posted. The punch I used is a Fiskars Dancing Daisy punch. It is quite wonderful and so far my most favorite punch yet. I have entered the card in the following challenges. Thanks for stopping by and I so appreciate all comments. Hugs, Rosalee

A Touch Of Green

Been going over a couple challenge blogs lately and I found a great challenge to enter. The FussyandFancyFridayChallengeBlog is hosting a green challenge this week and I decided that it would be fun to enter. Green has always been a favorite color of mine and I really like how this card turned out. This design has also turned out to be a favorite of mine and I can't seem to get past it. Hopefully my Mojo will pick up and I will be able to come up with something new. Hugs, Rosalee

Shaker and Gel Cards

I have discovered these amazing new techniques over at Split Coast Stampers. I just love these card ideas. They are perfect for young childrens birthdays or just for a hello card. Under the cards I have added a link to where you can find the tutorials. Hope you have as much fun trying out these card as I did. I do however enjoy making the shaker card more. The Gel card looks nicer but it is hard to get the right size ziploc bag that will fit to your card.
